Maps
Part of the Tidy Towns' Project involved Urban Heritage. Urban Heritage includes
natural or built places of interest in our town. Heritage belongs to everyone.
We drew maps of the town onto canvas. We marked heritage sites on these maps.
These included the Green Lake and our school. Cavan
town is rich in history and many buildings have survived for generations.
