3-D Buildings

We recreated 3-D models of Cavan town’s landmark buildings using recycled materials. This meant raiding our recycle bins at home and eating a lot of cereal! It is true what they say “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure”

In groups we worked on different buildings, (The Abbey, Breffni Park, The Courthouse, The Town Hall, The Library, The Tennis Club and The Cathedral). Construction of the structures was fun. After a few initial debates on how to create the buildings, we worked as a team to finish the project.

Our posters, maps and buildings were displayed in the library.

We were awarded certificates for taking part in the project.
